Location
and Access
Angel Street is located off Rochdale Rd (A664). Bus numbers
82 and 83 from the City Centre go regularly up Rochdale Road.
Alight between Nawaab curry house and the Marble Arch pub, go
down Sharp Street, Ludgate Hill or Gould Street.
There are disabled entrances at Style Street and Old Mount Street.
In the next phase of development, we hope to open up an entrance
onto Aspin Lane, along the River Irk to St Catherine’s.
The park is open 24 hours a day.

Links
This site is the ‘City Gateway’ to the Irk Valley.
A short walk down Aspin Lane then onto Dantzig Street reveals
the River Irk and the St Catherine’s site.
Recreation and Usage
The completion of this development has seen a neglected waste
ground transformed into and urban green space. This green space
is now ideal for short walks, relaxation, and the starting point
for many walks through the Irk Valley.
