Recently the Manchester City Council park wardens service for north Manchester have established a woodland walk with the assistance of the Booth Centre. The Manchester Cathedral-based group, for homeless and recovering alcoholics, have spent many days tidying up the park. School Nature hunts are held on a regular basis.
