Recreation and Usage
Heaton Hall is a grade 1 listed building, and features several exhibitions. Facilities include: riding stables, pitch and putt, tram museum, international standard lawn bowls, boating lake, farm centre and orangery. The park also hosts many public events such as outdoor theatre and concerts.

Heaton Park lies on the border of Bury, and is one of the most northerly sites under the remit of the Irk Valley Project.
